Got the 5160's installed tonight just like I wanted. Truck fixed.

Put some shock covers or guards or what ever they are called on them, I just hated the idea of seeing the shaft being sprayed with salt and shit. Now its covered. Orange of course.

Is the ski hill at 04:49? Looks doable with stock truck. More dangerous for ATVs because of the width

I have a techincal question for anyone who might have an idea please.

is there a passenger side transfer case that I can bolt up to my 2nd gen Tacoma with 6spd manual transmission.

No and no, you’ve got your oil pan on that side. Swapping Toyota dedicated front axle also much more expensive vs Dana, and those are weaker.

 

Well yes, ice and snow makes everything more difficult. Not a problem today though, with the mild winter this year.

 

Just had a thought on the comment about tree scratches, is there a "bra" for the sides of the truck?

As you can see from my profile pic, I keep the midnight black metallic showroom.
I would buy something like on this audi for the sides so I can go on trails like these. What do ya'll think.

I got a white truck...can't see the scratches that way.

 

A vinyl bra like shown in the picture will trap dirt and sand and slowly destroy the paint underneath like sandpaper on an off-road vehicle.

You can wrap the whole truck like @Sloweburn mentioned. It's $2000-$3000 depending on the wrap material and shop location.
