I don't wanna rush the fit and design. Sounds like they are prioritizing that over delivering something that might not be as finished.

Is this posted on their website? If not, I'm wondering why this communication is not made public at least to those that have a Tacoma and are in the que for production?

Why is an individual buyer required to be a spokesperson for the manufacture for an audience that may or may not receive the message?

This just for Second gen and 1 gen my self and @nudavinci64 and @frenchee.

My camper is in production i paid my 50% deposit back on Dec 7th originally i was told January pick up but its just been slightly delayed for my generation of truck. This does not affect 3gen

If they sent a mass update they could create confusion, which would result if more emails and calls which could slow down production.
Example: As @Coop68 stated in his post this new information was specific to 2nd gens and you either skipped over that part or assumed it would effect your build and got bummed out about it.
    Just my thoughts.
The SP team has been far more transparent than other companies in this arena. If you have any questions or concerns you can email Cindy... personally I’ve never had to wait more then an hour for her to respond, and she always extremely forthcoming with information beyond what I’ve asked for.

For clarity, are you indicating that only three (in total) gen2 and gen1 Super Pacific campers are queued to be built from initial deposits?

What creates confusion is when those that have put a deposit down for a build have to have another buyer report on a forum as to changes in the progression of production. SP sending a direct email to those impacted by the build process would resolve all misinterpretation and capture all those that have made deposits, including those that may not care to frequent this thread or be known by those posting in this thread.

i think we need to clarify what you are referring to as Deposit cause there are two types Initial deposit to lock in your spot $500.00 this is just a place holder. and a 50% paid deposit where your camper is now being built and your are 6-8 weeks out from pick up. I think there might be some confusion there.

I was just noting that my camper i was supposed to pick up some time this month got delayed for an issue thats only related to my 2gen truck. Does not have any impacts on anyone else unless you received an email.

No confusion on that part from me.. unless others are confused. I've been in on this thread since almost inception. In addition, those that got in early were able to secure a purchase price at less cost, assuming they don't fall through on their purchase.

My assumption is that most that made an initial deposit intend to take delivery and follow-thru with the purchase procedures (50% of purchase price within 6 to 8 weeks of delivery and then remaining balance due at delivery) identified at time of initial deposit.

For clarity, are you indicating that only three (in total) gen2 and gen1 Super Pacific campers are queued to be built from initial deposits?

yes sorry i should have added - 2nd gen running a booster

i only mentioned it as i think sometimes we get hung up in the idea we must have two batteries to run a fridge etc. my buddy spent 8 months driving to patagonia in his 2010 running a single northstar 31 with a solar panel to assist, and a different alternator over stock.

    lots info here

Copy i was quoting them cause we all put in around the same time for the camper plus or minus a week back in sept. just saw @frenchee just put his 50% down as of today so there might not be any issues for him. I know some where trying to do a group pick up/convoy so this could also change everything.

I am not sure of who is in que right now in regards to 1,2,3 gens and or totals of each.

At the moment i am just a lucky guy having to wait a little longer.

Right, there are a ton of factors such as us wanting to pick up together.
I think it's nice everyone shares on here, although there are some negatives to it. Hoping to get this feb-march before Baja trip

Ya I agree I had no issues with a 31am same output as the 2 but less dependency on one. Also less weight up front. The battery are ma tends to crack with a be at battery and wheeling. Also the extra space going to a smaller was nice. Future I may use a 35 or 27 then lithium in the back.

Very true. At least on our install day there will be at least 3. 1st,2nd and 3rd gens. Depending on the day before and after could have a decent amount in the area
