If I lived in a place where I could leave a grill out, the other half would grill for almost every meal, it what she did as a Bachelorette.

You mentioned before your recent diagnosis about that separation. Hope you're doing alright with both and neither are leaving lingering side effects

Slow cookers are underrated, but I always forget till its time to eat. :homer:

Got to ride on a rail car for a few days doing track measurement while back. The two guys that looked after all the instruments were absolute crock pot masters. And they had a freezer full of klondike bars.

Glad you're keeping your sense of humor!

I like to make a tinfoil basket and put asparagus with butter, garlic paste, qnd fresh mushrooms. More butter and garlic means more better

Several years ago when I lived by myself, I decided I wanted to try and cook better food so I went down to the local thrift store and bought a crock pot. Put a roast in it and all the fixings for several hours, but it took way longer to cook than it was supposed to. Couldn't figure out why but figured it was just a shitty appliance

Wasn't until some years later after my wife and I moved in together that she revealed what I thought was a crock pot all this time, was actually just a stupid rice cooker.

Pro tip - you can slow cook a roast in a rice cooker but it takes like 2 days
