What could be causing my steering wheel to be making a clunking noise when I go over a bump?

So, you’re saying the steering is going dadadada and not baboombaboombading?

One thing I wish he had discussed is what if the steering wheel is a little off? Where do you rotate it over a tooth or two? Would guess it's inside the cab?

You might consider looking at all ball joints in the wheel wells. The ball joints (tie rod ends specifically) on my truck got to the point where they were so shot I was experiencing everything you say you are too. I've also experienced this same issue on a 2002 Tacoma and it was due to worn brake pads...

I might have both or warped rotor? How I know if warped rotor. Everything I'm thinking is on the driver side.

@pinktaco808 Well I’m not entirely sure how to tell if a rotor is warped while installed on the truck, however you can remove it and get it resurfaced at most any auto parts store or just buy a new one. (My dad always told me it was just better to buy new rotors) Along with that you could see how worn your brake pads are and see about replacing them. On my old taco, the brake pads were SEVERLY worn and it’s what caused the issue. Also consider jacking that side up and try shaking the wheel with it still bolted on. If it moves a little it can be indicative of worn bearings or worn ball joints. That might be allowing play in the steering/suspension system causing it to give you your problems. Hope this helps a little.
