well to my under standing, the rally is on public roads. At Best; Paved roads on a hot day, At worst, icy gravel roads.
I don't see why we couldn't but the organizers would know best

 

Alright, I was just worried about there being something I'd wreck my truck on lol. I'll have brand new winters and chains so I'll be overkill prepared.

 

I can do it in my quattro with 19" summer wheels, you can do it with stock Tacoma. It's a scenic and joyful ride covering best of Ontario.

 

are chains ever legal in Ontario?

 

Not sure.... but in the case of a blizzard I'd rather break a law and get my gf and me home safe. It's a last resort but I'd rather have the last resort than not.

 

Studs aren't but chains are permitted for occasional use

 

Good to know, I was under the impression I was to just hope the cops got stuck before they caught me

 

Studs are permitted anywhere north of Parry Sound.

 

All the roads are roads that are not maintained in the winter. Worst case you get stuck and someone pulls you out.

This rally is meant for stock vehicles to enjoy a scenic drive while also having to engage 4x4.

Lastly, we are going to have communication setup so if you get stuck, you aren’t alone. We will come find you, no one left behind!

I have a buddy non member who is interested...problem...he has a Jeep.
Is that allowed/disallowed/taboo/I'm now banned for asking?
