Personally, I like white cabinets for the laundry room. Hone Depot used to sell ready made cabinets in white for a fairly reasonable price. I'm not sure about now.
I understand the cohesiveness desire but in the end, that's just to make you happy and will do nothing for resale.

 

You guys are right and I should just go with white and call it good. Sometimes I'm so overwhelmed with the fuckedupedness of this place that I can't decide which route I want to go.

I'm not even sure I like the kitchen cabinet color to begin with

 

I like all white for laundry rooms because to me, it looks clean.

As far as the kitchen cabinets go, you can always sand and paint them whatever color you wish to give it a fresh appearance and rejuvenation. You could even just order new cabinet doors of you wanted to and get a whole different look altogether.

On a side note, my dad has been in construction for years. They finally built their retirement home and moved in about 3 years ago. He refuses to put in granite or marble countertops because he won't get any more money for the house when it comes time. And that is true for many markets.

Yep, at the end of the day I'd just like it to look clean, but that could be the little bit of ptsd I've gotten cleaning this place making me say that lol.

Thankfully the kitchen cabinets are super basic so if I changed them I'd just slap some new paint on them. The counters are meh.. They'll get replaced at some point but is at the bottom of a long list.
