Bout to go help my mom move some stuff from her old house. Be glad when she’s done. I got stuff to be working on and rain is coming.

Might want to talk to a good broker and have them run some simulations on what will get you there the fastest. Being able to get VA should help you out also.

 

Went to PT this morning and running errands. Was on the other side of town and stopped by Hutch’s pie shop for a couple of jalapeño, egg, cheese and ham fried pies.

I need to pay debt down first. I don't have emergency savings and I'm still in debt. I'm continuing the search and preparations from last year and hoping to buy a house in the next 3-5 years.

VA denied me because of debt-to-income ratio, so my goal is paying down debt.

I really should sell my motorcycle lol.

If it gets you in line with what you want then it's not a bad idea. Short term loss for long term gain.

We want to buy again because I'm not a fan of giving my money away and getting nothing out of it in the end. With owning at least I'm investing in myself if we decide to sell down the road. Rental we move out and get nothing back for all the money we've paid in over the last XX months or years.
