Granted I had some of it already but I've done more mods in the 8 years I've had this truck than most anything else I've driven..

45? You can easily pay will over $50k for TRD Pro. Here in Canada those are pushing $60k CDN now.

I tried to order parts to bundle the cost into my finance amount; they gave me a number (said they can get everything I ever dreamed of) and it was too high. I started to trim the wish list down to something more reasonable. This went on for over a week of trimming costs and working out deals on pricing. THEN they tell me, "Oh, by the way, we will need to include a dealer markup, charge you shipping, duty, and customs brokerage." So no accessories through the dealer. A little foresight from someone, and they would have spoken up sooner bringing the parts decision to a quick end.
Although, I went back and got bed lights for $80 CAD, I think they wanted $150 originally...

 

Y’all know you can get two trucks for that right? Ha

 

Yeah, it does burn. That's more than I make in 3 months.

Yeah Midsize Tacomas cost a lot.

I mean my $22,500 SR ACLB 2018 is a fantastic truck and was affordable. Since Toyota doesnt let you order a bare bones Double Cab 4x4 DCLB, some of us had no choice but to get the $35k DCLB SR5 4x4 (cheapest option on that configuration)

Personally for the price, Tundra is a better buy. Its just I have some size constraints and don't want to do the 13-14MPG I was. New Tundra supposed to be pretty amazing.

Well we can't blame Toyota. Consumers today demand a lot from their trucks, and Toyota provides.

New Hilux is all I need.

 

Hi Julia, I think you really need to reconsider “your luck”.......glass full vs glass half empty.
aFTER you get the truck, you can tell us, if you had a choice.......original truck for original deal OR new truck, for less money and a little angst.....and really an incredible outcome with not a lot of disagreement in the meetings....
I think most of TW are envious of your outcome.....(including me).

No sir. OR doesn't have red interior option. It is upgraded to the leather package.
