What are some good all terrain tires? Bfg? Goodyear? Toyo? General?

Ahhh. Another tire thread. Wonderful. Just what this site needs. Get what you like and are in your budget. Everyone and their cousin drives Wildpeaks on TW. I have K02. They suck on ice. Good on everything else. Best of lack.

no need for that shit. I don’t see a search bar to search questions if they’ve been asked before. I want peoples personal experiences. Thanks.

I have KO2s and really like them, Cooper ST Maxx in 255 85 16 are good, very tough, as well Nitto Ridge Grapplers, and Goodyear Duratracs. Toyos are good as well.
What size of wheels do you have ? 16 or 17 inch?

Looking at your truck some 33 inch tires x 10.5 x 15 would look sick. I was looking at some manufacturers, Nitto doesn’t do 15 inch.
    KO2 in 33 x 10.5 x 15 would look good.
    Those Maxxis above look good.

Loving my Wildpeaks so far, they have been great in snow and are quiet as street tires on the highway.

If you live in a climate that gets snow, it's hard to beat the Goodyear duratracs

    Falken only does 31 x 10.5 x 15, which would look small on a 2 inch lift.
They do wider but that can be a problem, but maybe not.
As soon as you go to a 33 inch tire most go to 12.5 for width, which is a hassle

Consider the purpose of the tire.

The Primary purpose is to provide friction at the road surface.
2ndary purpose is to increase ride comfort.

What surface do you mostly drive on? Pavement? Gravel? Dirt? Sand? Forest Roads? Rock Crawl? ........
Do you want a tire for looks, traction, comfort, mileage, your buddy has, ......

If you drive on pavement and rarely off-road, then an aggressive tire may not be a wise selection. Perhaps a better choice would be a tire suited for pavement and not off-road.

The point is any tire you choose will be base on a set of compromises. There is not a single tire that is capable of doing everything.

Personally, me and my family cars see paved roads. This time of year, the roads are frequently covered in ice, snow pack, snow, slush or dry. The best set of skids are on my daughter's car, a set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S. My truck has a set of GD Wrangles, looking forward to them wearing out. Probably won't need to wait for long. My replacement set on the truck will be either Defender LTX M/S or LTX A/T2.

BFG Km2 or Km3 in 33 x 10.5 x 15 are some more choices. Toyo MT in that size as well looks great. The Yokohama Geolander MT in a 31 x 10.5 x 15 looks awesome and is only 47lbs, but might look small on your lift.

I've had a really good experience with the Cooper AT3 4S tires in 265/75r16. I know everybody is into the Falkens right now, but I recommend the AT3 4S.
