I remember those old yellow license plates! I think my first plate had that same design but was dark blue though.

Winter fuel is less efficient. The cold temps too because your engine is further from the point of running at top efficiency.

Have you ever done spark plugs on it?

I bought an Ultragauge and use that to help me drive smarter

So that had an iPod hookup? My cousin’s 2006 Scion had the factory Pioneer system and it kicked ass!

Actually, I misspoke here; The battery was at least thirty years old and most certainly did not have any juice after three decades of dormancy. The battery acted as a conductor of sorts, but all I was really doing was powering the Mustang's accessories with my Tacoma. The Tacoma just got a new battery in late September 2020, and it was also running; Consider this...

My Tacoma has a complete custom stereo with a head unit so complex that it requires a cooling fan, and also has a component speaker system with an amplifier and a separate powered subwoofer; The amplifier and subwoofer are tied directly into the battery, and the radio was on when I had the truck hooked up. I also had the heat on and was charging my phone, in addition to all of the other little lights and accessories constantly running at any given time...

The horn did not have a constant source of power, as the tone would fluctuate slightly. The radio worked, but only played from one of two speakers from what I could hear; No way in hell my truck was going to power the headlights, turn signals!

I don't recall it having any kind of ipod hookup, it was way nicer than the factory cassette CD combo.

If it didn’t have a iPod hookup I would have kept the cassette player! My cousin’s 2006 Scion xA had that exact same head unit and it did have an AUX input, but it was in the center console and not directly on the radio...

It was almost 20 years ago so moving up to having a couple MP3 discs was so much nicer than cases of cassettes and CD's.

Both of our 2020 Pacifica company vans have heated seats and a heated steering wheel!

Curious what head unit you're running, I forget.

Oddly I wouldn't be surprised if you could have unhooked the car battery, cabled to the truck and those cables and it start or at least crank..at that age that battery is going to block any real input of power

No keys to the Mustang; Head unit in my truck is a Pioneer AVH-1550NEX, which I don't believe is in production anymore...
