    Rollin' hydrocarbons!

I was more concerned about mounting. I'm trying to figure out how I want to mount the Rigid. There's not much open real estate on my swing-out. I will continue the experimentation.

Now put down that 1/4” drive bullshit, grab a 1/2” ratchet, throw on an 1 1/4” deep well, climb down into a 5’ ditch with mud up to your ankles and ta-da. Now you know how to put waterline together. Want a job?

One of the many ways I manage to stay surprisingly fit, for a fatfuck.

Lol yep. Any further back and I would have needed to relocate. One of the bolts holding the cab mount on was ground in half and welded in to make clearance.

    That sounds horrendous, no thanks.

Wait, did I mention you have to do that for every 20’ of waterline you lay? Twice for every valve or bend. Thrice for tees, and four times for crosses? My life is tyte.

No, but just my tire weighed 70 and the combo weighs 110, so they’re about 40 lbs with all the hardware.

Cool. I'm gonna be selling my steelie bead locks and getting some aluminum ones just figuring out which ones. They need to fit my offset and weight requirements.

The steelies are 48lbs but I also need to keep an offset as close as possible to what I have now. Several of my top choices like yours only come in the really aggressive offsets. There are a couple that are only 31 lbs which I'm really interested in and the KMC tank is ~34 lbs. I'm trying to be around the ~115 range with 37s so tire selection is key too.

What’s weird is these are advertised as 33.8 lbs so I’m unsure where the extra 6 lbs comes from. Probably a combination of the bolts and wheel weights that were on there. That’s the only thing I can think of.

    Top choices
    Black Rhino Rift
    33
    Fuel D120
    37lbs
    Fuel Anza D116
    34lbs
    KMC Tank
    33lbs
    Dirty Life Roadkill
38lbs with ring and hardware (per emails)
    Dirty Life DT-2
    36lbs ring and hardware
    Dirty Life Mesa
    (comes out this year)

Maybe IDK I'm going based off advertised weights the first one listed is on the heafty side. I'm pretty sure most left the hardware and rings off the weight listed to make it seem lighter. Damnit now I can't remember which one was like 30lbs or find it. I've been looking and figuring and trying to decide on the look I like for like 3 months now. One big plus on the KMCs is the drain holes in the rings

That, and the dual valve stem. Let’s you just drop in powertank monster valves. You seen those? Let’s you air up a 40” tire at like 1 psi per second. It’s unreal. They figured out the stock valve stems are the choke point so they designed their own. I’ll get them eventually.

Why not buy a Milwaukee impact driver with OneKey? You can set 3 seperate torque values with +/-5ft-lbs accuracy. Then you can speed through the 3 different tiers and do a final check by hand. :notsure:
