Rebuild for a Fox shock runs almost a couple hundred bucks-use that as your starting point.

Personally, this is a service I'd give to my LBS unless they are Walmart...call your LBS and see what they charge.

Definitely not going to do this myself. I just wanted to know if a rebuild was much less or roughly the same as replacing the fork. Sounds like it will definitely be cheaper to rebuild. Good to go!

A good fork is worth rebuilding. Some might be more or less.

I recently did my Nomad and decided to have the brakes bled too. Well worth it.

    So stock.
That thing looks rad! Are they coming with the DPX2 now or did you add that? I didn’t realize the frame could clear the reservoir.

Hahaha not really. I called a guy my buddy bought his Ripley from a year prior. Did my build and was able to get one ride on it before winter!! loved it and anxious to get back on it. I stuck with the Deore... after all the reviews etc. it’s something I felt I didn’t want to spend the money on.... (at the time) it shifts flawlessly, and the upgrade would have only been for the weight savings

    Excellent choice!

BTW, when you install the app, you'll notice you can now update the bike. Unfortunately, you still cannot update the battery software-but it does save you a trip to the LBS for the control software.

It's in my living room now. I can't wait to ride it. I swapped my Chris King / Stans Flow wheelset on today. I also went tubeless. I'm so over dealing with tubes.

    How I built it

    XTR shifter, cassette and derailuer
    Hope V4 brakes in orange
Hope 203mm rotors (currently waiting for them to come)
Chris King hubs ISO six bolt in Mango
    Diety flats in burbon
    Fizik saddle Alpaca
    Hope Crank arms in orange
Renthal Carbon bars 800mm 30mm rise
Paul Components dropper lever (Just ordered)
I also installed a Timber bell since my experience on a rental said it might be a good idea

I also ended up getting a new Smith helmet from REI.
