How long did you have to wait for your 2021 factory order?

Update . Just got back from the dealer . He called and said my truck would be in a few days . I told him i wanted him to instale some new michelin defenders that I had. He said I should bring them in . Supposed to take delivery friday.

 

Bodes well for me then.. Got an update from dealer today saying the truck is in transit.. but hasn't hit Toronto [I assume RailHead] yet.

 

I put a deposit down on a TRD-OR MT on Dec 19. Just emailed the dealer for an update and he said it's scheduled for production Jan 18-21.

 

Awesome! Mine officially went in on New Year’s Eve, so hoping to hear something soon.

 

Got a VIN # today - 21st to 23rd at the dealer.
Tentative pick up date set for the 29th.

Been waiting so long I can’t help but actually being a little excited.

 

Ordered mine on Nov. 21st.
Allocation went in on Dec. 15th.
The approximate build date is Feb. 5th.

 

To add to the discussion here. Ordered my Truck (OR, DCLB, fully loaded) on oct 24th. Built jan 08, supposed to be delivered next week.

 

Got impatient, said screw it and drove 500 miles. Picked up my 2021 premium TRDOR 6MT with advanced tech. Cannot believe how much better this is than the two AT trucks I drove. Really wanted to like the AT.

Got a real vin Monday 1/18 (build date listed was 1/8). I was told another 3 weeks to wait.

 

Update: I was supposed to get mine in December, but there ended up being another "Covid" delay. Finally took possession last Friday. Almost 5 months on the dot for delivery.

 

I waited 13 weeks for mine, similarly outfitted (TRD OR, 6MT with premium, advanced tech, tonneau and other things). It was worth every day that I waited. The 6MT is snickety-snick tight and smooth. I wouldn't have an AT for anything, especially with the gear hunting problems it has had. You will not regret your purchase.

 

4 months, Sport MTACAG, sure outgrew older brother, just hope it is as bulletproof

 

Finally picked mine up today. I'm pleasantly surprised to see that it was built in Texas too, was expecting a Mexico build here in Canada.
The predator steps are backordered as was the rear step up so has to go back to the dealer for those whenever they get them.
Super happy so far with all the 7km now on it

Thanks man, I ordered at the beginning of December so it took about 7 weeks. I think it was just lucky timing for me because it seems that a lot of these were being built in January.

 

I ordered my 2021 Tacoma 4x4 access cab 6M, voodoo blue in September 2020 and I'm still waiting. I originally wanted a 2020 Tacoma but they didn't have any. Hopefully I Get it soon but I haven't heard anything from the dealer yet.

 

Did you get a VIN? Is it from your dealer’s allocation or just one that they are hoping to trade? I waited 13 weeks and it was definitely worth the wait, but I had confirmation of the build date and VIN and I attached my deposit to the VIN. Good luck.

 

Just so I understand, you waited 13 weeks to receive the VIN/build date, or 13 weeks to get the truck in the driveway from the time you ordered?
