I export over 800,000 lbs of dates, so if TW people woild buy that much I would be happy to be a vendor here!


Instead I am sending 17 boxes of dates out so far this weekend to TW members who sent me PM. They helped me - as a token of thanks from me, least I can do

“Your truck is actually on a truck to the dealership now!”

For those following, they are expecting truck between 1/25-1/29

so not sure what this means, if they will get truck earlier or truck will take same time

but wanted to update the thread

I've been following this thread from afar and want to say congratulations @farmtacoma!! The way that you've handled yourself, not over reacting, was perfect in my opinion. You let the dealer work it out to make sure that you were satisfied. Nothing better than a satisfied customer from both perspectives! Here's to hoping that the new truck is all that you've hoped for and more!!

 

That time frame is pretty much normal. I was told that when I got my truck too. others said this was typical to see a window of a few days for truck transport. Mine was actually a dealer swap but the one that traded it off to my dealer still had in inbound form the factory. I got the same updates like I ordered it plus a day to transfer it to my dealers lot. Mine came in the first day they gave to dealer 1.

Thanks Mike! Yeah initially they gave me the 25-29 window. Then yesterday they said its on its way on the truck. So I don't know if that means its coming earlier, or same time frame.

Hey, Christmas came early this year. At least you don't have to wait for Dad to set up the 8mm film camera and light bar. (That would be mid 50's for you young 'uns.)

Old days when nobody had a camera in their pocket. Dads used to have to set up a 8mm movie camera and artificial lighting to get videos of kids opening their Christmas presents...

 

Damn that was rich folks. My dad NEVER had a camera....
