So there's this hide belt at work. It's a horrible fucking design based on the way the place was built. It's wedged up into a pre-cast concrete TT. It breaks constantly.

I was up fixing it today because all of my mechanics were busy and it's Friday so I didn't really care about how bad I was about to smell (use your imagination!). Now this thing is 25' up in the air, and the hides drop from that belt onto another belt that is at a roughly 30 degree angle, which happens to be covered with blood, fat, shit, and some other liquids. Basically it's slippery as hell. Now to make matters worse, the area you have to work on the drive end of this belt is approximately 2' by 2'. So you're sure as hell not standing up to work. You can't use a scissor lift because it's above a basement ramp which is at too steep of an angle to use the lifts. So the only way to work on it is to use a climbing lanyard on your harness, use one hook to tie yourself off, and the other to literally tie yourself in place by wrapping it around your leg so you can't slide down the damn belt.

I won't go into much more detail about it other than to say my legs are fucking sore from wedging myself into place two days in a row.

I know that smell oh so well. The fork lift compny I worked for serviced Moyer meat packing slaughter house and rendering plant took a week to get the smell out of my nose and 2 weeks to get the flies out of my van
    Nasty place to work.

Anyone ever see or use 9mm Largo or 38 Largo ammo? Came into a bunch of it.

There is a difference in the length of the brass for the 9mm so I don't know if they would eject using them on a semi that calls for 9mm luger. Otherwise, they have been around for over 100 years. If you try them out, let me know if they eject okay.

The 9mm case looks long to me. Check the specs before using.
