sorry about your old huntin spot getting modernized and the loss of a good buddy. That story reminds me of a song written by a legally deaf guitar player I was in a power trio with back in the early 90’s called “when doves fly away”

the band was drums (me), keyboard and guitar.. we were a post floydian psychedelic rock band, who played all originals. I had long hair. We called ourselves “Silent Time”. Later we got a bass player and rhythm guitar and played out quite abit at parties, on South street Phila pa, ect. For about 2-3 yrs.
2 of the members moved to S Carolina and I got some chick pregnant..life changed forever for me.. anyway
The song “when doves fly away” was about change, and people who you knew that were close to you, have gone away..and talked about modernization of the spirit.. crazy how you think after smoking like a quarter ounce, and jammin. Ahhhh those were the days.
I’ve played in a few other bands, but none were like that one.

Yeah, it's over here. I'll start shed hunting/scouting in a couple of weeks and maybe go crappie fishing a few times this spring. I've kinda dropped the ball on fishing, I'm gonna try to go a little more often this year.

yup I never get in as much fishing as I would like to. always waste my spring and summer doing other things and catching up on projects i neglected in hunting season. I got a bucket list fish that I can catch in my area but haven't hooked one yet. hoping to spend sometime looking for em and hook a few this year.
