    Yep, I think wheels make all the difference. I originally was going to go with scs rays but the offset had me concerned it may rub. I’m no expert but I think if you go with a 0 offset and you don’t go with a crazy aggressive tread you’ll be fine.

    Ukea - yes, Nitto Terra in pic. I originally wanted to go with a 16” wheel but I couldn’t find a Standard load tire in a 285/75/16. This is my daily driver and drive quality was a must.

    Looks wicked and I am glad you are now happy. I would recommend the AAL for the rear if you are going to put any amount of weight on or behind the truck. This would perfectly level your truck. The Toytec/Dealer AAL rides awesome. Stiffened up the rear in a nice comfortable way.

    thx man, a camper may be in my future and I’ll keep this in mind.

    Do you or anyone else have any roof rack recommendation that look bad ass and that are not loud as hell?

    Anytime. Yeah you will want an AAL if you slap a canopy on. I do not myself but its seems to be either OE roof rails or a Prinsu for most. I will add the OE rails as I only plan to transport two kayaks on the roof. Don't want a rack like the Prinsu full time. Plus it would mostly block my sunroof.

    I've got the 285/75/16 Nitto Terras and all I needed was a $60 leveling kit. And that's on a 4x4 Sport, OffRoad or Pro might not need the kit!

    Any idea if this would work on a TRD Sport 2wd? I currently have 265/70/17 with the OEM T4R Pro wheels. I want 285s in the 17” but I do not want to lift it or do a CMC. What kit did you use? TIA

    I'm sure it would work on a 2wd but not sure with the bigger wheel. I doubt you'd have to do a CMC but might have to trim something and would definitely need the leveling kit. I got mine from extreme terrain, $49.99 on black friday before shipping but I'm pretty sure that was only 10% off so probably $50.

    I should restate that, I do not want to change out control arms and leaf springs. Shocks or spacers are ok. I have no problem cutting plastics and even folding the pinch weld, but I won’t do a CMC while it is still under warranty. Thanks for your input.

    Well... Here it is! It’s overcast today so the pic is not that great! (Maybe some better pics tomorrow)
    285 75 16 Falken Wildpeak AT3W
    So, I was on the fence like most on here couldn’t decide on 265 or 285 and man I am here to say, thank goodness I went with 285’s because it looks insane in person. I took off the front mud flaps before the install just to make sure there was no rubbing on the way home and It didn’t. I did get a slight rub somewhere but very slight while backing in to driveway up a incline. Nothing to be concerned about whatsoever. I did put the aftermarket flaps back on and then it rubbed, (again a slight rub) going to try and take a heat gun to it and see what it does. If not, then the fronts come off. No biggie!! Theres a slight difference on how it drives but again its hard to really to notice.
    Other then that, I’m super stoked on how it rides and how it looks....
