Rolled trucks still drive home, hell mine wheeled for two more days with a crashed cab and bed and then drove 600mi home afterward

Exos are ugly, look at it this way, another 4r is way cheaper than even a beat up tacoma... bodies are even cheaper haha

Really if I got another toy to mess with, I'd want an 85 Pick Up or 4Runner, or an LC.

I'm game for Bald Mountain like we were talking about before, it's closer to you and only about a 5 hour drive for me

Hungry Valley/Gorman is pretty lame tbh...although there are more trails out that way near Miller Jeep that I've always wanted to check out, also Miller Jeep isn't undoable or anything, I've done it almost a dozen times over the years. It's just one of those trails you definitely want sliders and aftermarket IFS/t-case skid for. I've done it with guys that were unlocked and they usually need a couple tugs, but with a rear locker its completely doable.

Just tryin to figure out there where lol

I think esp if you're gonna fly all the way out here, the Sierras would be a much more enjoyable/scenic trip than the mountains north of LA.

Oh no, the whole so-cal thing was for a non-LT meet.

Just you, me, and the other dude expressing interest to go somewhere, and anyone else you might know.

For the LT Meet, I think Bald Mountain would be badass.

Look up Bald Mountain by Shaver Lake; that's in the Sierra's so it's beautiful as hell out there.

I got a bunch of shit I need to go over on my truck, I was making an accelerated turn out of a parking lot the other day, heard a loud clunk/bang and felt my truck sort of jerk more into the corner. Thought for sure I blew an LBJ but nope, got out and everything looked fine. Hasn't repeated itself since. But I need to jack it up and give everything in the front end a once over.

My upper SPC ball joints are almost 5 years old, I should probably replace them for good measure

That trail looks fun as fuck.

Let me tag BAMF in a thread I created; was telling Todd I'm going to rush getting some sliders installed.

yeah sliders definitely recommended for that trail. The first time I ran it, my truck was bone stock and my friend convinced me it would be OK. It was OK but I was shitting my pants the whole time. Every time I've run that trail since, I've used the sliders multiple times so I dunno how I got out of it unscathed the first time around.

    Damn.

    Hopefully nothing broke.

I need to install my UCA's, and just to be on the safe side, replace my LBJ's and tie rod ends.

I'll be buying 1st Gen Tacoma parts as you can only use their LBJ's if you buy their TRE's as well.

yeah I've heard the 3rd gen t4r LBJs with the different tie rod connection are a little more fragile? Probably better to just use the Tacoma ones if you can

My LBJs and tie rods are only 1.5 years old so I don't think they are the issue but I need to check for play just to be sure.

If anything it might be my uppers BJs which I should swap out anyway due to their age and mileage.
