That's rad. The bolstering on those looks super nice. The seats also look to be in really good shape.

Assuming you made your own custom brackets to mount them? How was that?

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

The bolsters is THE reason why I wanted to do it. WAY better than original. More adjustment with the power seats is going to be nice too.

The brackets weren't too bad. The BMW rails were flat on the bottom. I just cut the brackets off the original seats bolted them in to the floor where they go, then set the BMW seat on top of them, lined everything up, tacked them in the truck, pulled the seat back out, and fully welded the bracket to the rail.

The seat sets up about 1 inch from the original seats did. I'm 5'11" and sit with the seat layed back, so it really doesn't bother me. But the way I did the brackets may not work for someone a lot taller than I am.

I'm betting they go up and down and have heaters. Speaking of which, I learned 4Runners have nicer seats too.

Right on. Yea that sounds pretty damn easy for getting them to mount up right.
Gonna be sweet to have those on the trail

They do go up and down... unfortunately, the heaters are controlled by a panel in the dash... which I do not have... and haven't the foggiest clue how I would set up... so no heaters for me. :pout:

I was a little wigged out on my test drive. The controls are not in the right place.

I think that's down in the center console? Kinda hard to find it when driving.

Not enough to have a build thread.
a little research, a couple relays, and maybe a 3 way switch with a resistor could probably get them working right. Unless they’re “smart” and have some kind of sensor that watches the temp or something

best thing would be to watch the initial voltage on a functioning set so you could duplicate it with yours

My cousins use to be a chemistry teacher then started to make her own beer. Her mom is a badass baker so they opened Brewery/Bakery, also serves Mexican food. Located in the oldest building in Napa which has some cool history.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I figured I would give the Local guys first dibs. We have three sets of no kick bolt on 3rd gen sliders powder coated in stock. Our no kick option was removed a few years ago but we found a few we didn't know about. So they are ready for pick up today if anyone is in the market and don't want to wait.
