    I bought some powder that says you run it through a full cycle with only the powder (no clothes) and it cleans all the gunk out of the machine. Not sure how well it works but worth a try. :notsure:

    I don't think the water level in ours will get high enough for that to work and there's so many rust stains since no one kept up with it. I ditched our old front loader at our old place to keep the top loader they had here. The drum is clean but everything plastic is rust stained.

    After seeing this video, I have no doubt that it may appear clean but it probably isn't.

    Don't watch if you're eating :thumbsup:

    I may try a cleaner like this as a precursor to a more thorough cleaning. At least it can help reduce some of the gunk :fingerscrossed:
