I had had enough on the drive home after looking at the last used trailer. Called and bought a new Zieman F511 with the wood slats. Ended up a little under 2k with plates and tax. Looks like this:7EA9BB3B-FEDC-4A32-95E5-5BB1C92C222F.jpg

It’s a lot lower than I wanted, so there will be no off-roading the Tacoma with sxs behind it to whatever camp spot. But it’s light, has torsion suspension and if I remove the wood, it’s easy access to the guts of my sxs. Almost like a ghetto lift. The main benefit of this thing is I can drive up/down without ramps - or pawn that duty on my wife.

I searched for used for about 6 months when looking for mine. The few that I found that fit my needs were asking almost new pricing so I eventually just bought new. Better in my opinion anyways as I was able to order exactly what I wanted and add any little details I wanted to add. Congrats

Not sure if there’s any way to lift a torsion trailer but it might be worth searching. Leaf springs are easy to flip the axle and raise them up 6” or so

If I ever damage a fender, I’ll cut them off and get ones large enough for 33’s. You can get 6x5.5 hubs for about $100 and then run the same tires and wheels as your Tacoma. That would lift it several inches...

There’s no other easy way to lift torsions. It’s welded to the frame

Finally hade Tires2Go hook me up with some Falkens and get the new wheels put on. There is some rubbing even after taking off front mud flaps but should be easy to take care of.
