The EZ Jig Gen1 Jig has alot of parts so its hard to keep it aligned.
I learned this method recently, might help you a bit:
    1. assemble the jig with the pocket drilling block without the lower in it. dont tighten down yet
    2. Fit a long 3/8 dowel pin (or the 3/8 drill if thats all you got) through the safety selector hole to align
    3. Tighten the jig down completely
    4. Scribe 2+ lines across the drill block and side plates(red lines)
    5. Measure and record distance of the side plates top and bottom, front and back (blue lines)
    6. Assemble with lower aligning with the scribed lines and recorded measurements, mill the lower like normal.
    7. Before drilling selector and trigger pins bolt the pocket drill block back on. Make sure scribed lines are still correct, and recorded measurements are good (close enough)
    8. Drill and pray.

    9. throw away Gen1 and get the Gen3 :D

If any of yall are on mocfra, I'd highly suggest getting involved in the Hometown threads. This is where you can fellowship with your local Patriots/Pro 2A neighbors and share ideas, establish a line of comms, etc. This will come in handy and we can all help each other out if ever needed.

They went up $.10 per round since their last batch. Extra $120 per 1200 rounds. 3 months from now, everyone is going to wish they could pay .$70/round!

Probably true, but I have sufficient for now. My local sporting goods stores still get it in now and then for $.50-.60/round

Lucky you, my LGS has been wiped out. If they do get anything in, it’s gone in a few minutes. I’m sitting pretty healthy on all my 2A stuff as well.

The price is not bad for match grade ammo loaded to 5.56 pressure. It’s almost the same price pre Covid. I shoot mostly 55gr and 77gr out of my ARs.

Have you seen prices of ammo as of late? We are already nearing $1/round of just basic mil spec surplus ammo!
