Bought this aluminum battery tie down from Rogue off-road, J-hooks appears to be steel.

Swapped my CaliRaised pods for a set of BD Squadron Pros (clear).

It should be noted that the CaliRaised pods have been great and are still (in my opinion) the best bang for the buck. I just needed a bit more light (2500 vs 4600 lumens). Lol

TRD Off Road Hood Decal - hard to see at this angle, but it's cold outside so took it from my office window!

    Maaaaybe...

I got this truck in November and I'm in that "new bought truck in love stage", that's normal right?

I bought my truck 3 years ago and went through that phase. Then in December it got lifted with new wheels and tires, a new grill and soon to be sliders. I'm back in that new truck love phase again.

Be aware that a lot of us have left the overload spring IN as opposed to taking it out per the instructions. I found the lift afforded by them to be lacking without.

I had new wheels/tires installed within 3 hours of receiving the truck. I keep going back and forth on getting a slight lift/level - it would be for aesthetic purposes only so that's why I keep talking myself out of it.

I bought mine in April 2020, and I still feel that way.

I had a lifted/armored FJ Cruiser and after running with that for a while, I just couldn't appreciate the stock stance on the FJ any longer. It looked whimpy to me. That translated over to the Taco when I bought it. I also do take it places where I don't really know what I might run into and need all the help I can get in some of those situations. To each their own.

I can tell you that I've taken trails in the stock truck that I thought might be pretty risky and it did just fine. If you are wheeling it, they are super capable stock. If you aren't really wheeling it, then you're just spending money to lift it and slap bigger tires on it. :spending:

This is 110% what I'm doing. The wheels and tires made a HUGE improvement (imo of course) in the looks verse the stock. If I do lift it won't be the spacer/block lift but the 5100s all around type so not exactly cheap. Which is why I keep talking myself out of it.

Did the wiring harness work or did you change it out also?

yiu have to change out the harness bc it’s two different wire gauges and plugs. But I did cut the harness to switch and soldered it to the BD harness bc I didn’t want to use their switch.

Still waiting for a couple items to get here, only small stuff accomplished so far. Minimalist key fob, Interior delete kit, waiting for climate control rings and steering wheel overlay from MESO as well as those little white buttons for my black fob. Now when door handles come back in stock I’ll grab those as well.

Fiancée got me some floor mats and those are amazing. Personal opinion

Used my 14oz grease gun to get underneath the truck and grease my 2 lonely zerk fittings. Should have bought the 3oz mini. Oh well.

Thanks. I originally did just the vinyl and then the chrome was really bothering me way too much. So that’s the outcome with both.
