x2 on this. When I bought my white AC (rip) I thought the power steering was cooked. That was until my friend reminded me there was a u-joint in that steering shaft. After three days of WD-40 and working it back and forth it finally freed up. I think it took about two weeks of daily driving and more lube for it to finally feel "normal" again.

Is that a six speed? Should be saving up for the squeaky clutch of death instead :boom:

Just had my throwout bearing and clutch replaced (due to spring wear), plus throwout bearing shaft sleeved. Unfortunately I had this done at a shop before doing extensive research, so stuck with whatever parts they installed.

Had it done just prior to Christmas. Come spring I'm replacing my summer tires with stock size wildpeaks. After that, suspension when I can afford it

Theyre still crapping eggs out but theyre hiding in their insulated coop with the fluffy shavings and are not having it. Only come out for their morning seeds and canteloupe treats then sprint inside. I dont blame em. I do the same thing:rofl:

You're crapping eggs? Might wanna get that looked at... or taste tested. Reminds me of an old joke.

Woman goes to the doctor and says "you've gotta help us, my brother thinks he's a chicken!"
Doctor replies "Well how long has this been going on for?"
    Woman says "About two years..."
The doctor is shocked! "Two years! Why didn't you bring him in sooner?"
After a couple seconds the woman responds "Well doc, to tell you the truth we needed the eggs."

Off to help my daughter and her friend. Thankfully it's not my daughter's car this time.

Went on a little bit of a drive today, was thoroughly impressed that I got 23.7 MPG. 100 miles round trip (90 miles highway and 10 city) straight highway I'm sure I'd be in the 24s.

Yeah I found a couple of posts about the truck from way back. Pretty neat I think. When I bought it from him he said he'd joined the x-runner groups on fb and switched to being active on there rather than here.
