i thought 285's with 4:10's was perfect. you are going to have revs on the freeway but off the line it should be pretty rad.

 

285/75r17. So a little taller than the "285" many refer to. Plus I'm heavy with steel.

 

freeway high revs i personally dont care for but for what you have it should be great. ive got 35's now and wish i had 4:30's

 

4.56 was awesome on 285’s almost felt like the SC with 315 and added weight

 

beat me to it! Almost as fast as local delivery

 

I have 315’s and wish I had 4.88 ( but auto, 4.56 on the MT would be primo)

 

Just thinking that we have to cut the top one. Hopefully the adapter for the deo sensor fits

 

Yes as far as i understand thats the trade off, but it doesnt feel like its lost much to me. Im sure a dyno comparison would show otherwise though.

Do you know if the blackstone kits are specific? Ordered Oil then trans but only got oil.

 

i was running 35s with stock 3.73 gears for about a a year. wasnt terrible, just had to stay in say 2nd instead of 3rd like it is now with 4.56 gears

I was cleaning and reorganizing my attic storage and saw the stock stuff up there. I decided to throw it on just as an experiment to see how quiet it would be. I liked it enough to just leave it. I definitely left some some power on the table which is to be expected.

4.10s made a huge difference for me too.

 

Going for that all stock look with the OE intake and the exhaust eh?
