Anyone around Ocean city area make hybrid bumpers for the gen 3 tacoma? I dont know if I want to do the 14 week wait on a C4 lol

 

@Mobtown Offroad is the only 1 even close and thats Delaware.Not sure if he makes a hybrid.And most companies will have wait times.

Yeah, they are about 1.5 hours from me. Unfortunately they dont have any in stock and the current wait time is like 10 plus weeks

There is a guy around the Ft Meade area that welds DIY kits together. He's done alot of Coastal Offroad bumpers for people. That might be an option to explore.

He welded top plates on some sliders I got and I have no complaints.

Tried my hand at making new engine bay splash guards. They’ll go in when I do the uppers, hopefully this weekend.

Our camper weighs 1600lbs and all aluminum. Ordered the power wagon today.
The main thing @68dave was the cab space. The dog, the kid, the lady leaves 0 room for anything else. Plus potential other kid coming later this year or next (we’re in the planning phase) so something bigger would of been a must one way or another.

 

I'm just bustin your balls man. It's just the wife, dog & I so space isn't a big issue for me. But I have been asked how my big ass fits in those little Toyotas lol.

 

My 17ft Casita fiberglass camper weighed 2400lbs and mine had a bathroom with a shower & sink, tv, stove, microwave, fridge with freezer, another sink for kitchen use, holding tanks... it was fully equipped just smaller lol. I miss that camper but it sat under my carport for 3 years untouched since I bought the cabin. Wife pushed me to sell, if it was up to me it would still be sitting in my driveway. A young couple with a little girl drove up from Georgia and bought it so at least its being enjoyed and making memories with them. I bought it for $17.6 and quickly sold it 6 years later for $15.5 so I did pretty good. Those little fiberglass campers hold their value and have a cult following.

 

We looked at one similar to that but we like that the small one will still force us to spend time outside and can still drag it around offroad.
