Yep, Polymer 80 over the "buy, build, shoot" kits, it was an "all inclusive" kit that was no different than buying all of the parts at once.

 

Ok I remember now. You can buy all the parts you need if you add them individually to your cart. But if you buy it as a kit, then it's illegal. Makes about as much sense as putting a screen door on a submarine.

 

Why not just buy a factory lower from a reputable company

 

It's fun? No serial number? Get both?

 

I just don’t think I could ever trust some half assed lower. If I gotta worry about a serial number then shits gone south and it won’t matter

Do you know the difference between the phosphate and the nitride finish? I assume nitride would be more wear resistent because it costs more?

I'd like to get a chrome bolt and carrier group, but damn, it costs as much as a complete AR!
