Hey gang! Total newb here. I own a Nissan and am looking to upgrade. Been in the forum for a few days and it just seemed creepy not to introduce myself.

Anyhoo! If you know of a deal on a second or third gen let me know. Until then, I’ll be creeping around learning stufs.

What's your location? There's a couple for sale here in the greater KCK area private sale for 21k and 19k IIRC. Both Gen 2s. I think they are both on FB marketplace.

 

Yeah, I think so. All the stuff I’m reading makes the Tacoma a lot more enthusiastic driven.

I like my Nissan fine, but it’s a bit worn out and it seems time for her to become a farm truck these days. I think the first gen Tacoma is beautiful, and have since my best bud in high school had one, but I feel like the asking price is crazy these days.

Yeah that's the lowest I've found in recent time. You could check out Autotempest since it searches ebay, autotrader, craigslist and I think a couple other sites.

 

new here too. 98 first gen 4x4. 235 deep rain tires, alu camper shell. bought a touch radio with speakers and back up cam. two days later it works. 20" light barr with 4 4" smalls for 53 bucks. bought 25" of 1" square tube for 32 dollars. bolted four sticks to the sides and one so far across the top to form a pipe rack. one more top to go. on the back i hung two 4" lights and wired them to the back up circuit. shift to turn on. the other three go on the crash bar wired to the high beams. limited wire no switches. overland right? wish me luck!
