Just a little PSA. The colmen stoves will melt their dimpled feet into the tailgates. When you have the top surface covered with a frying pan and a pot, enough heat gets trapped. I keep a chunk of 2x12 as a stove base / jack plate.

3" lift. $10K in TRD options. Richie's semi-hidden bumper, and soon his Elka suspension
I bought a bunch of parts off a guy in Cambridge who had a second gen, regular cab he brought up from the states. He had it built up pretty nicely.

He was selling it because he got married or something like that... I was already building up the 09, so didn't jump on it (plus I was poor at the time).

I've not had any melting issues, even with the burner on full tilt, so far so i guess i'llc ount myself lucky then. if the plastic does melt or get messed up (i'm usually watching over this thing anyways) i'll probably change it out. Been thinking of getting those pre-cut cuttingboard material replacements but i don't have a need to get it for the time being

but good to know the end-caps do melt!

showing $37, but still a good price.
    upload_2021-1-22_9-6-55.jpg
if the little tag is anything to go off of, it could be that $23 you mentioned.
regardless, still about the same price for 2 of either cans.

I use the Costco cans and have only ever had an issue with them once (something something pressure from a half-empty can left in the bed on its side in the summer...)

Just by feel, the end caps are a different plastic and of a lower melting temp than the rest of the tailgate/ bed. The bed material im in good suspicion it is a thermoset from how it drilled.

The Costco online price is always higher, I think it includes shipping. They are $23 for 2 in store.
