For Ford / Mazda, there is FORScan. Such an unfortunate name, but it works nicely.

Makes me wonder what names they rejected.

Flashed the ECU no problem. Definitely a noticeable difference from the 04B04 update and already seeing better mileage. So happy about this!!

Thanks so much @tonered for always staying alert to this and the many other threads on this subject. Also to @Shellshock for the great write ups as well. You guys really simplified things!

I saved those reset screenshots from @CdnSldr, which also helped, but I’m not sure if I did all of the Learned Values for the ECU. It seems in TS that the clear option shows up on a few different places, for example from the engine or transmission page it has it. So am I clearing each value one by one, or would a reset values clear all of the above no matter which page you select it from?

    Thanks again guys!

    You're welcome!

    Enjoy the new tune.

It is just the engine and AT. If you got both, you're good. One doesn't reset all of them, unfortunately.

Sorry, not that I am aware of. Keep an eye on the NHTSA site.

Darn. Thanks man I appreciate it. Where on the NHTSA site would I be looking? Every time I try to find them there it seems I get a bunch of useless information.

NHTSA will identify recalls. Log into your Toyota account (toyota dot com) to search for TSBs on your specific VIN.

    Its in Tonered's signature:
TSB PDFs are at nhtsa.gov / Click on Recalls, search by make and model (not VIN), and then click on Manufacturer Communications

    As always, Thanks @tonered !

Incase i missed it. Does anyone have the current techstream version for download. V15.30.27. or can I use any version to program my smart key. I left my key in my wife car at the dealership and it was closed when i realized it. I Spent $150 to program a fob last night so i can get to work. and the locksmith erased my primary. So now I'm back to the same issue as before. I have an spare that dont work.

V14 will work on all Tacos through 2020 including key programming. No one that I have seen has confirmed the 2021s yet.

I think you are correct - I don't think TSB's are classified as a "recall." Recalls require the manufacturer to remedy the safety issue and the Dealer can not use the "we can not replicate" BS. Unlike a Technical Service Bulletin where the Dealer can use, and frequently does use, the BS excuse. Seems odd that the TSB's related to performance would not be required especially when they improve performance and reduce emissions. Good thing there is access to TS for self remedy.

I think V12 was the last version for XP, but you can try V14 and see.
