Spare Fuel

Has anyone on here ever used this stuff? I have never wanted to carry a jerry can in the back of my truck but this stuff could be stored behind the seat like spare oil. I am interested as to what the mechanics on here think of their claim that it wouldn't harm the engine.

I want something that I can keep in the vehicle at all times and not have to worry about it rolling around in the bed or someone stealing it. Those flat plastic ice pack things that attach to the lid of your cooler with a plastic screw come to mind. Less than a gallon of gas strictly for emergency use.

Lol look what I found on there website!

 

There are some heavy duty flat ATV fuel tanks that mount to the front rack of a ATV, and hold about 4 gallons I believe. you could mount something like that up in the back or ??. lots of different ways to hold a couple extra gallons of backup fuel withou taking up alot of space.

Anything is better than a jug of snake fuel that may or may not get punctured inside the cab during a accident.

 

One of those 1 gallon containers mounted to the inside of the bed under the side rail would be perfect. I know what I'm getting for Xmas!

 

Non-flammable gas? That's so ridiculous. Think about it.. whats gas supposed to do.. burn in the engine. Lol

That flat ATV plastic stuff is pretty tough and extra thick walled, but not very thick on the cross section. A person could position it above the spare tire, and just crank it up with the spare tire winch against the frame,,saving bed and cab space. I plan on doing something like that eventually.

anybody ever put gas in a waterbottle? real gas disintegrates plastic so I really dont know how this works.

 

A piece of rubber mud flap or ?? for rub insulation and dampening.
