I've been trying to focus on other hobbies, lol. Just too hard to find stuff, not to mention the prices when you do find something, and I'm sitting OK right now. At least that is what I keep telling myself.

 

I've taken up fishing.

 

I have fished all my life! I grew up in the sticks snipe huntin and cow tippin and shit.

 

Same but different. There usually is not panic though forcing inflation.

 

I never really got into it until a few weeks ago. I needed an outdoor hobby that was cheap, besides camping and shooting.

That's why I've cut back on shooting and camping.

Gas prices are gonna go up, so I can't go as far and keep a low budget and we all know the ammo situation.

 

Fishing can get expensive too, but it’s all initial startup costs. Good rod/reel combos, tackle, licenses and boats.

 

I get a free fishing license and I was gifted a bunch of fishing gear.

 

Sounds boring lol.

 

I fear this too. I drive 120 miles a day for work round trip. At $7/gallon of gas, I won’t be able to drive my truck anymore. Gonna have to pony up in a motorcycle or a cheap gas getter.

 

Bird hunting is much more fun. I watch them until the bead gets out in front of them and squeeze!

How you get a free license?

 

I need to ride my motorcycle more often. It was my daily lol.

Also, back on guns. Time to do preventative maintenance on my defensive stuff.
