Of course there are exceptions for situations like yours. I'm talking more about the trucks in your last picture. 10" wide, low profile MT's stretched onto 12" wide wheels is super corny, IMO.

A friend of mine was cited years ago for having too much tire sticking out. He was told we're allowed 2" beyond the factory openings. I'm not sure if that was Wisconsin law, or if that's a federal standard, though. But, aftermarket fender flares do not make it legal.

Big fan of my SCS F5s.

16", 0 offset, 3.5 backspace. They position the tires just outside the fenders, which is perfect for me.

Edit: they're also super light weight, only about 18.5 lbs a piece (about 6 lbs less than stock).

What is this backspacing? Do my Beadlocks have backspacing?

We have F5s on the wife's 4Runner. I can't convince her to trade.

Got another letter from Toyota dealer for a trade offer.
Now its, up to $22400 for my truck. But this time its my truck plus $8849.00 for a 2016 SR5 double cab with 41638 miles.

    I don't think so.

How would a guy know which 16" wheel to pick from that list?
Or do all three pretty much sit in the same spot when all things are considered?

What size wheels do you have now? Choose either 16" or 17" and then choose what offset you want. Your wheel is a 6 bolt.

Here's a cappy picture of the wife's 4R. She had a Toytec Boss lift put on recently and a front skid plate. She needs bigger tires to fill the wheel wells. It's dirty AF. Rides awesome. 20210116_092318-01.jpg

Skids and sliders if playing in the rocks.

Bumper and winch if playing in the mud.
