    Hello,

it’s a cool 67°F night here in SoFL. Bit humid in the air. But my Tacoma no e stop exhausts semi clear smoke. Oil seems fine but hard to gauge the reading, seems like a smear of oil between the two dimples on the dipstick.

I attached a zip file. Idk how to upload vid from iPhone it says extension not allowed.

Normal, sometimes a cold cat stores fuel and it will smoke more. Sometimes the cats are super effective and make more water/steam.

Bad smoke is white or blue.

Yeah, this is mostly like a clear/whiteish vapor.

car is still under warranty but I hate the hassle, funny enough, none of my other cars are doing this.

You should see how much mine smokes at 27°. I'd say this isn't bad for a "cold" start.

    It’s 67° with 77° humidity in SoFL.

Car was parked all day and driven briefly down the road and back. We do t really warm our cars up as Floridians. My STI exhausts clean currently and it’s a modded streetfighter but since this is a new platform for me , I’m a bit apprehensive with most nuances.

White, sweet smelling smoke is a sign of burning coolant. And usually billowing clouds of it in my experience

There’s no smell, there’s no mention of smell.

the smoke/vapor starts up than gradually goes alway. Than it comes up again. No milkyness under the oil cal either. The smoke has more of a stale water smell

its 100% normal water vapor forming in the air from the hot exhaust hitting the cooler ambient air.

its going to be ok. I too live in FL and on the cold days it happens. I get in, start truck, and drive off. No warming up because, bro...its Florida.

Thanks, man. I appreciate the input.

just being overly cautious. It’s a new platform for me so I know how the questions could be ridiculous or possibly just dumb but in my previous cars if you saw anything like this it’d be a cause for alarm.

But the Toyota dealer confirmed it was just condensation backed up into the exhaust from cold but humid ambient weather we’ve been having.
