I spent a lot of time around a family with a colicy kid, only thing I could do is take a turn holding the crying baby while they got a break haha.

I want superswamper wipers that bounce down the windsheild and eventually fall off, but they are made out of steel so they will never fail!!

Those are what I get too, not that we need them that much out here.

Actually getting 3+ days of rain next week, might even see snow in town on Tuesday, which would be a first in many years.

To think, it was 90˚ a few days ago

Yeah the whole closing of Hollister Hills pissed off a shit ton of people; should've seen the comment section of IG when they announced it.

On the plus side, they posted days later that a lot of work is being done such as clearing brush in many areas of the trails and campsites (overgrowth), renovating the bathrooms, etc.

It actually rained a little at my place yesterday. Hopefully we get some more soon, we need it since we haven't gotten our regular monsoons.

back in his day, windshield wiper operated on a lever in the cab that you had to manual pull on to make it swing.

reminds me again of the Grand Tour, couple seasons ago when they built their own 4x4 out of a box of parts in Mongolia and then drove it across the country. They tried to rig up something like that but failed miserably lol.

That was the best episode, that little solid axle 4x4 they built was awesome

Trash is one thing that isn't an issue fortunately.

They have garbage cans spread out throughout the trails; the campsite actually sits in the middle of the large area so that's a good place to take a break and toss garbage too.

It's a gated area and you have to pay just to get in; if it was BLM it'd be a whole different story.
