No. we do not have the intention of designing a leg that goes straight up and down. Its weak and ugly.

Agreed, straight up and down won't look nice. So this is something that would essentially bolt to the bed rail, go around any cover of sorts, and look like the TRUSS the rest of the way up?

I plan to buy the front runner easy out awning, but if I have the uptop shadebrkt mounts I don't need to buy anything extra from front runner right?

A shadeBRKT and the stock Front Runner mounting hardware will be all that you need!

@upTOPoverland has there been any thought given to solar panel mounts? It may not be the most popular product, but I've been playing with the idea of putting one on the rack recently. Has anyone else done this?

It is not on our radar at the moment. Too much variability.

Understood. It was a kind of random thought.

I have 4 X-Bull traction boards from eBay. How easy it'd be to mount this on the Bravo on 1 single stack? Can I buy the long bolts from hardware store to fit into the T-slots? Thanks.

Trying to decide between upTop and Prinsu.

“Trying to decide between UpTop alpha and bravo”

here I fixed it for you

Everything about UpTop is easy you could either do something with t nuts or get the maxtrax mounts and drill holes if needed. I will say the standard mounts worked with my arb tredboards

Thanks for the nudging.. I have decided on the Bravo + shadeBRKT. Gonna put in order today. Few questions:

    1) what's the longest ARB awning I can mount without vibrations etc due to excessive overhang at highway speeds?
    2) Is there any discount right now?
    3) I can replace the shadeBRKT with the Straight up side mount for mounting awning and gain even more rack space?

    Thanks all.

    1) what's the longest ARB awning I can mount without vibrations etc due to excessive overhang at highway speeds? Length should not be an issue but use your best judgement. The shadeBRKT is very stout.
    2) Is there any discount right now? Not at this time, sorry
    3) I can replace the shadeBRKT with the Straight up side mount for mounting awning and gain even more rack space? Yes. This is a true statement.

If I were to get the Pelican Cargo Case, which mount would I need from UpTop that would work the Bravo roof rack?
