Well he was going to try and use the 1.25 tip, I dug around and found the 4 for him to use. Made quick work of it with that.

I keep a 6/8 (IIRC) vari-pitch blade on here. I always take a grinder to the hardened edges before cutting plate steel. Sometimes I'd rather saw cut than clean up snaggly torch edge.20201231_073435.jpg

I so wish we had something like that in the shop here at the mill. We've got a wannabe shop. A bit of everything, but it's all really old and not a lot of tooling to use with it.

I've got several C-clamps cut and then welded plate with a hole in it for locking the clamp to T-slot. Or you can use step clamps. It is a nice saw, and I've seen very old models that worked very well.

I tend to make fridays my leave on time day. No direct deposit. So I can make it to the bank, grab beer and some food for the family and be home by 5-5:30

Not really fine furniture but wife wanted some more desk space. More utility, So the brown is original and new wood the extension. Ramp for our little chihuahua who's getting older. Her bed will go on the shelf to right

I wouldn't be afraid of buying an older model because I'm pretty sure anything that could break, there's still replacement parts for them.
