Looks great! Does glass warp when you weld it or does it stay pretty consistent?

Hammer and a couple of powder tricklers I turned out. I should work on single point threading on a taper. I have done it once before but remember struggling with it some. 20210122_190552.jpg

Guess I will get in with the carpentry going on in here. I took the whole week of New Years off last year and pretty much didn’t leave my garage.

Started by clearing off the back wall

    Insulated the wall

added another shelf between the top and the middle after this

Even built some doors. The rest were finished but didn’t get a picture.

Even had some left over to build more in this little corner. Was always a mess and a catch all basically.

They are both doing really good. Sleeping a little better at night now. I went back to work on Monday and she survived the first week with all three kids. She gets 18 weeks from work to be home with him.

Glad I checked in and looked at my assigned seats. They had me sitting next to the window with someone next to me (no seat between) when I could just move to the other side of the aisle to that window seat an no one next to me. No brainer.

Minneapolis to Atlanta has the middle seats blocked and nothing better than what I was assigned.

Woah, took some time off from the internet today but this thread sure didn’t slow down! I’m doing well Shane, thank you for asking!
Worked on caulking all of the trim on the playhouse and all that’s left is painting the railings and putting some roofing on.

The wife came out today and jokingly said, “I’m surprised you haven’t rigged up a makeshift shower out here!” (That’s the one thing the barn loft is missing) she can out later to find that I rigged one up! She didn’t even know I had a portable water heater, now she wants an outdoor shower on the back of the barn. It’s been added to the list!

As for the Covid situation, I’m feeling fine and have a test scheduled for Sunday. My GM and co-workers started a group text to all check in (only 24 employees) sounds like there’s 3 others who have it, my GM included. We hired a sanitation service to fog the shop, which they did today. But I’m taking extra precautions and going to go in tomorrow, grab my PC, and work from home next week.
Looks like my roof rack cross bars were delivered there today too, so I’ll pick those up to play with.

Was thinking about you and your wife’s situation today while working on stuff. Sending good vibes your way, I know it’s not easy, but keep your chin up and take it one day at a time.;)

That's looking good. It's nice to have shelves and cabinets to keep things organized and put away. This gets more important as you get older....sometimes I wonder if its because I got so much more crap or I just don't recall where I put stuff...most likely a little of both.
My attached garage is a hodge podge of cabinets, counters and a couple of old desk.
It's surprising how many people have a garage yet nowhere to park their vehicles inside.

Thank you. Need to get the wall to the right finished up this year hopefully and organize the rest of my tools.
That was my problem, had random shelves and cabinets and racks everywhere. Wasn’t happy with it at all. Was always a pain to get to what I needed. Still a mess inside the cabinets but at least it’s out of sight now. Have a ton of junk to get rid of. The wife can still park inside so her car isn’t frozen in the morning. I could never park the truck inside even without the cabinets.
My dad had a 40x20 garage at his house and he can’t park in it. Can barely even walk in it with the exception of the work bench by the door. Drives me crazy trying to get anything out. :annoyed:
