    k, so they show checkpoints busting people that drink and drive. What about checkpoints for all the illegals that hit and run ?!?!...Oh wait, I forgot, they can't make DUI income from those people. I'm against drinking and driving yet in a way I'm aggravated that all this "enforcement" for dui's is only about creating revenue. I remember reading an article about a pissed off trooper that was specifically told by his higher ups to generate more "income" for the state otherwise his job was gone. When the average DUI costs a person $10k thats like a gold mine

    first of all. the state doesn't collect but maybe 3% of what a dui costs the offender.
    second. how can you say that dui enforcement is about nothing but making income? what about saving peoples lives?

    ok i see your point, so maybe some people can drive drunk just fine, but what about the others? who might end up killing themselves or someone else? is that ok too?

    explain your reasoning here. were you charged with a dui, and driving just fine, or something????
