Buyer Beware: KTJO 4X4 Driver's Side Grab Handles w/ A Pillars, HUD, and Bowl Lights

Well Boys and Girls,
This mod is finally complete and LOOKING GOOD.
I ordered my drivers side grab handle on Black Friday 2019, received a $25 rebate a few months later from Katie.I just received my package today, install took me 30 minutes, most difficult part was lining up the 2-3” bolts and getting the thread started. after reading a few pages of the thread yesterday and seeing all the issues
I decided to Stop and Pray before I opened the package, My prayer was answered, I received all the parts, everything looked Good and install was a snap. this is a GREAT addition to a Great truck. This will make it much easier for my wife to get into our slightly lifted truck.
dealing with Katie was very Slow and Poor communication, BUT she came through with a nice product.

UPDATE: Here’s an update on 200 Tailgate Lock Packages, 25 White Door Bowl Packages, and 25 Red Door Bowl Packages.

It stated on the 19th sailing on the seas and to arrive on the 21st.(Don't know if this was posted days ago or Jan. 2020? as the fb comment doesn't show what year it was)

I'm with you and in for more Pain, lol.

 

Her IG post says the ship was due to arrive at port on the 21st. But since her communication is pretty lacking, who knows if that happened. Her post does show the ship was the CO OSAKA though. The second shipment of grab handles (being rushed by China... good luck to the future recipients getting rushed products) hasn't shipped yet that I've seen.

 

Dude if you come to AZ, order it at avid off-road and pick it up, put it in your luggage.

 

It ain't terrible, but it isn't great either. Gaps check out, had to bend the upper mount a teeny bit, handle doesn't line up with the body fully, and the covers need a little work.

 

Hahahaha! Getting screwed on bag fees would be worse.

I think I am staying here though. The fam is nutz.

 

I can't decide how much it bugs me that the handle doesnt line up perfevtly with where it connects with the pillar.

 

know the weakness and it sticks in your mind, but maybe after a year or two it'll wear off.
Go OR'ing get it muddy dirty and this could be manini stuff easily forgotten

the fine print: "for off road use", wasn't designed for my Mall Queen, lol

 

Wonder when her website will show the disclaimer:

Freighter Osaka from China must have docked in California port? FedEx update? Packaging phase, labeling, trucking to their shipping partners for the final delivery leg.

I just got an shipping confirmation email.

But I already got my grab handle...
Did i land a buy one get one free deal?

 

Ive received 2 of those today. Emailed back both times asking whats going on.

Of course...... no reply

 

Not expecting much,
But would be a great surprise to get another one. Would be an infuriating surprise if i suddenly get charged for it though...
