Thanks for the input. I definitely don’t want the stiffer ride. How much lift did you gain up front? I’m going with 886’s on Billstein 5100’s set at zero for 2” of lift. Don’t want bro lean either; it’s already hard enough to see over the hood when cresting something as it is. Truck looks awesome BTW!

Flat road with mile markers. Simple Time Speed Distance problem. 60 seconds between mile markers is 60 mph.

This also works but could be more expensive.
“Do you know how fast you were going?”
“Not really, I’m recalibrating my speedometer and was hoping you’d tell me”. ;)

The calculator is a great place to start, but it doesn’t account for the built in offset of our Toyota’s. From the factory, they speedometer and odometer read faster and more miles then actual on stock tires. From the experience of members here they are most accurate at +1 tires. I have 33” tires, so my odometer reads less mile then actual, but I’ve corrected my Speedo with a rough country module.

Installed my Snail Armor tailgate panel. Emmie wasn't impressed that I put her on it for a picture.

Good to know. I have 32’s so I should be pretty close. I noticed when I set the cruise control to 65mph the speedometer reads 64mph.

I found 255/70r17 is 99% accurate to factory speedometer. My GPS reads within 1mph at 80mph.

I put those on mine months ago. I actually had them before the truck even came home but some mods take time to get to. They do work well and are easy to install

TRD Pro suspension with Headstrong 3 Leaf AAL, DV8 OR front slimline bumper & Engine Skid Plate, RCI OR high clearance bumper, CaliRaised Trail Edition Sliders, Spidertrax 1.25" Wheel Spacers, 265/75 16 GY Duratracs, wrapped the OEM wheels, OR Roof Rack, Extang Exceed Hard top Tri fold tonneau.
I purchased a take off TRD Pro suspension from another fellow, and gained about 1 1/4" in height up front and it pretty much leveled the truck out empty, but I had a bit of a Bro lean with my typical weekend camping gear and bikes loaded, thus the decision to add the AAL. I now sit about an 1 1/4" higher in the rear empty, and about 1" higher loaded. I'm really happy how it turned out. I am glad I waited for the Headstrong 3 Leaf AAL to become available. The installation went perfect, and no squeaking. A solid buy.

I wasn’t as lucky with 255/75/17s. This was taken while I was “calibrating”. I set the module with the math using calculation:

    309EC543-894A-4062-9BEF-F50549558FC6.jpg

Note: cruise set to 75, Speedo reads 84, and GPS indicates 78

I don’t believe that the Rough Country module adjusts the odometer, and it clearly doesn’t adjust the speed the car “thinks” it’s going based on the set cruise speed.

You are so right. I would like to put on my new skid plate but no garage. Todays weather is 28°f and windy. I'm not doing anything outside on the ground. The other week when I changed to oil and it was 50° sure was nice.
