    Yes, all the equipment is manual and I believe 3 of the five lathes have a taper attachment.
    I think the last time I threaded with a taper, I used my usual method of keeping the compound parallel and cut depth with cross slide, this didn't work well with take up of slack, and my return to zero on DRO. My friend just told me to feed the depth of cut with compound.
