Where to buy airbag and module etc?

where are you guys buying your trusted airbags from

just picked up a 08 taco with low miles and super clean, just driver side air bag has blown. any constructive response is appreciated

 

If interested I have one from an 06 without steering wheel controls. But shipping theses things is sketchy. So depending on location I'd be willing to let it go for the price of shipping

 

they blow up in transit?

you have with audio controls by chnace?

No I have the no audio control option air bag so it won't work for you

 

Hmmmm........ I'd be skeptical about the cause of the air bag deployment.

Suggest to go to the dealership. Sure, it'll will be expensive. It'll be expensive wherever you get it.

This is a part that should come from OEM. Reliability and fitment are very very important.

 

With an air bag being a critical safety device I don't think I'd trust anything but new OEM unfortunately, the Control Module on the other hand you would probably be ok with a good used one from a truck that hasn't had a deployment.
