How was the install difficulty? Did you need a adapter, or was it plug and play? I didn’t see one as part of the parts shown on website . I’ve been dragging my feet on ordering because work has been crazy and life as well. Website from hot shots didn’t pic it. They look real nice

You mean you put straps over them and used the D-rings to hold the straps? If so it doesn't matter, weight limits are only for lateral movement of which your sandbags will have none. Also I just built a simple 2x6 frame to isolate the section over the axle (using the wheel well humps as guides), then chucked five bags of sand in there. I like to run about 300lbs heavy in the winter over the axle, it's just something I've done for years in an F150, so I translated it to the Taco the last two years.

I didn't see the adapter either, but just ask @memario1214 for it, it was 10 bucks or so.

Like @Taco-Obsessed said just shoot me a pm. I have all of the little parts, but the way my site is set up they don't show up nice. I'm in the middle of a website overhaul now, and all of the extra stuff you're looking for will eventually be in there as well

Removed the Lamin-x from my fog lights today. I really wanted to like the yellow but I just didn't.

Yellow?? Go amber. I’m really pleased with the amber film.. They are SO close to matching the DRL’s- and are dead on with my grille lights.

They look good on your truck but I just prefer the white fogs.

Yeah the pre runners may be different. I have a dclb 4x4; between the carrier bearing and the rear diff there's a rubber boots that covers the slip joint. I was getting a clunk on hard stops and on acceleration from a stop. Turned out that the splines on the slip joint eventually dry out and aren't serviceable with a zerk. After I took it apart and re greased it, the clunk went away. Just be sure to make reference marks on the u joints and any other part that may become unbalanced if re assembled in a different orientation.

Got around to adding this shift knob. I should really call it what it is...a gear selector. Happy Saturday, guys!

Spindle nut would not come loose had to cut it out today when replacing my upper ball joints on JBA. Knicked the spindle pretty good hopefully didn’t ruin the integrity. (I’m a dumb ass I know lol...).

Removed the blingy Fuel hub caps think I like them more without.

How were you trying to separate before cutting?

Edit: sorry the missed the but *nut*. Was the shaft spinning?

Yep I had tried a box wrench, vice grips, and pickle fork to stop the spinning and impact wrench, wd40 and last heat to attempt to remove the nut. Had this all apart simply a week ago. Also other side separated no issues. Nothing was working on this side.

Not sure how safe it is in this condition honestly lol...

IDK how much space there is on the shaft under the boot but could have grinded flat spot there to get a better grip.
