You are in the right spot. Welcome to TW. A lot of places are not advertised over the web but meet ups happen all of the time. A lot of us in MA, VT, RI, NH, and CT have a number of spots that we go to but the moment you post exactly where it is, people abuse the trails and entrances get closed. Follow this thread for a number of meet up trail rides throughout the year. Have a little patience and it will pay off ....I can guarantee it sir.

Rutland prison camp is a nice easy place to drive around and explore. It's more dirt roads than "wheeling" but you won't break your truck or get stuck

If you are up for the ride, there is a group going up to Sucker Pond near Bennington VT. The first half of the trail is perfect for getting your feet wet. The 2nd part of the trail is passable with a stock truck, but you are going to leave a few battle scares on the bottom.

Yes, that’s the spot. I’ve heard about the spikes laid down. I have also run into the locals 6-8 times. Heard some stories about them being a little ornery, but mostly they were cool. One time it was a bit uncomfortable.

One of the best places I’ve been is the Middletown, NY spot. But I’m open to any and all off-roading ideas. Have not been out as a driver in about 9 years, so really looking forward to it.

Thanks everyone.. I think Ill give Rutland a try. Its about a 90 minute drive but looks like it could be a fun spot to try. Sucker Pond is going on the list for sure.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Sucker pond is not something that you want to try alone if you are new to this.

There's a hand drawn map on the Google if you want to see where the buildings used to be. There's a cemetery for the inmates down the street too

I would love to see a pic of the convoy all driving away and in the background is her prius flipped upside down with her standing in front of it with a face like "ok guys time to help me again.....guys......GUYS!?"

I appreciate both sides of the Prius situation. It’s hilarious to see folks get all sorts of bent out of shape from her trolling. Small penis jokes and all that good stuff. On the other hand, Prius’s aren’t going to crawl shit... f that noise

I didn’t see the pic, but I do agree that sometimes the hammer swings a bit aggressive for stupid shit, I feel that I got slapped pretty hard for my offense, while I watch much more offensive things go on with apporoved involvement.
Their site, their rules, and I’ll stop here as anymore will get me in trouble.

I think it’s cool to see bunch of built up trucks and spotters and whatnot and then a lone Prius just goes on by.
