One of the things on my bucket list to do is play and sing with a few guys on stage for a set.

 

Before Covid I would occasionally get together with these 3 guys (they were in their 70’s) and we would play a blues set at a winery. It was a blast. I prefer to play rock but this was a nice change.

I mean that’s like super split.
There is only a few ways to fix that as far as I know.
#1
Check your circuits. If he was super anal and only has half the load on
Several circuits then you can combine them.
You only need two slots at the top for a lockout.
Then get the correct lockout for your particular box.

Your gonna have to but another box out by the meter or
Have the main run to a sub panel and back to the main box
or maybe one of those transfer switch deals but you have very limited
Circuits.
I’m no electrician so I’m sure there must be something you can do but for
Sure if you can’t combine a couple of circuits in that box it’s gonna be expensive..

I had electric heat and took that out and I have half my panel left.

 

I use a transfer switch that has breakers in it and don’t take any from the panel. I chose those that were important to me when it was wired. I can’t change (easily) to an alternate circuit but most of the house is already on the transfer switch anyway. I run the boiler, refrigerator, kitchen, living room, bath, master bedroom. The range is gas and I have city water so that saves a ton of electrical demand. The outlet box to connect the generator to is remote (outside) so that I don’t have to run a cord to the transfer switch.
