How is the bus coming along?

 

On a brief pause while I deal with some major life events/changes and get the new rig up to speed but I've got the interior gutted, all of the aftermarket crap the school district put in is almost fully stripped out, and I've got the engine running nicely. Got most of the inoperative equipment working again (high idle, cruise control, interior lighting, etc) as well. Once I finish that I'll rip out the current floor, seal it up, and start on the subfloor.

I've got a ton of parts waiting to go on the new rig but it's having transmission and transfer case issues at the moment. I got the transfer case figured out and its about ready to go back in but I'm still waiting on parts for the transmission. Hopefully Monday.

Got my shot #1 today. Went through the Austin Public Health megasite. 30 minutes waiting in the car, 1 hour through the line and shot up, and 30 minutes to see what happened to me (nothing). But I have "Epipen" sting allergies, so they made me wait. If it puts a stop to last year, then it was a great present!

 

Got 12 post concreted in today in a 300ft section, I got one more to do where this T bones the North property line.

Hard to get fired when retired, but there are days I wish my mind would tell me to get fired or stop working cause I usually pay for it the next day or two when I don't.
