I watched a YouTube video on it months ago. I’m pretty sure it’s possible but I don’t remember a thing about it.

It's very easy to do, just type in the cooresponding frequency on your Baofong chicom radio. Theoretically if I had a chicom radio i would use it to communicate with FRS/GMRS/Ham...

I have chosen not to go this round. And to be honest, I won’t be going to any event this Prius is showing up to. I’m not sitting around and waiting all day for some moron in an obviously incapable vehicle try to keep up. It sounds funny to see a Prius in the trails, but it’s more work and time than it’s worth

For those who went to sucker pond last time... you know how long it took. It was a whole day! And that was pretty dry, and everyone had a 4wd truck! Y’all have fun. I’m not wasting my time with this one.

Looks like Seth's got you covered. It's really that simple though. I went and preprogrammed them all into my Baofeng as FRS-n, GMRS-n, MURS-n...etc.

Forgive my ignorance, if they're using channel 5, I just need to plug in the corresponding frequency? If I remember right at the Sucker Pond trip, it was as simple at plugging in those few numbers

Exactly. Put in frequency mode, and type in the freq. from the table that cooresponds to the indicated channel. You can also just pre-program them into the same memory slots as channel.

Yah, I’m gonna see how the trail looks. 2 hours from sunset and cold as balls isn’t the time you want to find out a U joint is ready to peace out.

I wonder if the ice is thick enough at that elevation to get a taco out on it. I’m gonna bring my drill.

    Afraid....no
    Annoyed.....yes
Keep in mind that trail runs and rides are supposed to be fun but it is kind of like going imax movie with your friend that is blind. Sure they can hear the movie but can't see the full experience and you have to continue to explain to your friend what is on the screen. It gets old after a while and at one point you want to just enjoy it for yourself.

    That’s an awesome description.
Edit: more folks need to think like this about their own actions on a minute to minute basis. Too many me folks out there, not enough us and how do my actions effect others.
