I drove a Chevrolet SSR today and I really want one now for some reason. I talked to the owner and he said Chevrolet only made ~500 of them with the 400hp engine in his configuration.

I guess its considered a muscle truck if you think about it

 

What’s cooler a SSR or Tacoma Pro?

 

Probably the SSR.

 

You know damn well he is going to buy that SSR and put a Pro sticker on it.....

 

The only thing gayer than a SSR are a PT Cruiser and a Prowler.

 

That was a trick question. They are both lame.

 

SSR came out about the same time as that Plymouth Prowler.

The Plymouth Prowler came standard with a cougpoon magnet while the SSR did not, but there was the option to upgrade the horn to a Cincinnati Mud Whistle.

 

One of my new co-workers owns an S14 Nissan Silvia with a liberty walk kit and a 2JZ

 

At least the SSR got a proper V8 where the Prowler got an epic fail V6

 

After you replace the transmission, water pump, and radiator...that's just my GM experience.

 

I think the few of us know what what that is, have all gotten out of the ricer phase in our lives.

most GM trans are fine until about 200k and they shit the bed.

 

yeah its not rice enough because its left-hand drive. it has a detachable steering wheel and a roll cage though

 

Plymouth was on its last leg at that point. Prowler, Voyager and Neon were about all they offered when they went under.

 

Never cared for Nissans really. I’d take an R33 if given the chance, that’s about it really.

 

I drove a Prowler a few months ago. It really was the biggest piece of shit and a super cramped cockpit and was typical mopar quality.

 

It was a unique car, I’ll give Mopar that.
