God our drum brakes look pathetic. When I got my new tires and wheels and saw the rotors for the first time I LMAO. This truck makes me smile in so many ways.....

New Elka 2.5" shocks with dual speed compression adjusters to add to the Dirt King upper and lower control arms, Remmen pads/rotors, and FabZone spindle gussets. Looking forward to dialing in the settings for our truck.

Gonna try to get to Joshua Tree and Death Valley this September or October. Would like to make it out that way in March or April of 2022. However it goes I’ll definitely get lots of pics to post.

Awesome, thank you! I'm going to order those panels, and was really hoping I could install both sides instead of just the passenger. Did you use any kind of washer or spacer between the molle panel and the rivet nut, or just bolt it up flush against the bedside? I'm wondering if it needs any kind of shim since the cubby pocket isn't there to stick out.

Love the combination of the TRD skid plate with the red shackles. Are those the demon brackets? If so, where did you get the shackles from?

Hi- thank you. Yes those are the demon brackets. Got the shackles from Amazon. I like this set because of the locking ring.

2021 TRD Off Road DCLB - Barcelona Red
Just over a month ago, I took delivery of my first Tacoma, a 2021 DCLB TRD Off Road in Barcelona Red. It replaced a Dodge Dakota that I had driven for nearly 20 years, so it has been quite an exciting change (upgrade).

My early mods have been the obligatory bed mat, along with cargo bed lights, Oedro floor mats, and a CPlay2Air wireless CarPlay adapter. Hopefully, more to come...

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
Stick around here and it will only be the beginning of the endless mods.

Last Saturday, installed running boards; last Monday, powered the brake light in the used canopy. Today, did the A/C drain hose mode, and replaced the stock backup lights and interior lights with LEDs, this time from Jumpers. I just like being able to see. Oh, and I installed the MESO coin holder and a ham radio mic holder (vent mod).

You can see the before/after difference in the following shots. On the interior of the cab, the center bezel difference in light output is not quite so obvious in the shot. But check the OEM incandescent light's shadow on the headrests and floor mat in the first cab interior. In the final photo, the LED is much brighter overall, much improved. You can actually see to write stuff.

I dig the light bar. I always think about how I want to get front and rear hidden emergency lights, but never end up buying any. Maybe this summer. But I find myself on the side of the road pretty often helping someone out or checking on them if they need help.
